Tragedy struck in northeast Portland on Thursday evening, 27 April 2023, when a train hit and k!lled a person.
According to the news sources, The incident occurred around 8 p.m. near Northeast 138th Avenue and Northeast Sandy Boulevard, prompting a response from the Portland Police Bureau.
According to reports, the victim was hit by a passing train, and despite efforts from emergency responders, they could not survive their injuries. A police spokesperson confirmed that the person had died.
