Downtown Portland Accident Leaves Two Injured in Serious Two-Car Cr@sh

PORTLAND Ore. – Two cars cr@shed into each other in west downtown Portland on Wednesday, 26 April 2023 and two people were hurt.

At about 1:30 p.m., firemen went to the 100 block of Northwest 14th Avenue, which is near the exit ramp for Northwest Everett Street from Interstate 405 North.

Both cars were pretty badly damaged, but all three people inside were able to get out. Firefighters said they gave “guidance” to one person to do this. Two people were taken by paramedics to the hospital and are expected to get better.

A fire department spokesman said that the people inside were in amazing shape.

“The lieutenant I talked to at the scene said that given how badly the cars were damaged and how fast the crash happened, the injuries could have been worse or even fatal,” the spokesperson said.

The exit ramp from I-405 North to NW Everett Street will be closed while first responders clean up the crash and cops look into what happened.
