Mae Whitman started acting at a young age. When she was 7 years old in 1994, she acted with Meg Ryan in the movie “When a Man Loves a Woman.” She became well-known as a child actor and successfully continued her career as an adult. As a teenager and young adult, she was in TV shows like “Arrested Development” and “Avatar: The Last Airbender.” Now, she is going to have a baby!

Now, it looks like Mae is single and not married. However, she might be keeping a partner private to protect their privacy. While rare in Hollywood, it does happen. Mae has shared that she’s pansexual, so if she has a partner, they could be any gender. This means the baby’s biological father’s identity might still be unknown.

Is Mae Whitman Pregnant?
Mae announced she was pregnant on May 13, 2024. She shared a picture with her Parenthood co-stars, Lauren Graham and Miles Heizer. Lauren played her mom on the show, which ended in 2015, and Miles played her brother. Mae and Miles became so close while filming that they even became roommates, even though they both had enough money to live on their own.

In 2015, Mae told HuffPost, “Lauren Graham is my best friend, and Dax Shepard is my family. Miles Heizer, who plays my brother, is my roommate. He lives with me in real life. We bonded in a way that’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.”
Because Mae shared her pregnancy news with Lauren and Miles, some people think Miles might be the father. Even though Miles is gay, it’s not unusual for best friends to decide to co-parent. If Miles were the father, maybe through artificial insemination, they probably would have announced the pregnancy together.
The most likely reasons are that Mae either decided to have a baby on her own through a sperm donation center or that she got pregnant naturally with someone we don’t know. No matter what, it looks like Mae’s friends are very supportive and will help her raise the “huge baby kicking [her] insides to filth!
