A Lady Was Arrested for Murder After a Rock Creek Parkway Automobile Crash

The United States Park Police (USPP) reported that a lady was charged with Second Degree Murder after she was a passenger in a car involved in an accident on Rock Creek Parkway that resulted in the deaths of three males.

Nakita Marie Walker, 43, of Washington, DC, was taken into custody by USPP on May 22. The collision occurred around 1:40 on March 15 on P Street, NW.

According to the US Park Police, three people were killed when a Lexus sedan collided with their vehicle in Arlington, Virginia: 42-year-old Mohamed Kamar of Burtonsville, Maryland, 23-year-old Jonathan Cabrera Mendez of Arlington, and 22-year-old Olvin Torres Velasquez of Arlington.

USPP officials had stopped the Lexus less than 10 minutes before the incident, saying the driver had fled the scene of a traffic encounter. Since March of 2022, the Lexus has been issued over 40 traffic fines in the District of Columbia, according to DMV records.
