The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) reports that a woman was sh0t and m*rdered early Tuesday, May 16, morning in the city’s northwest. At 1:30 a.m., officers responded to the 1400 block of Fairmont Street NW on a g*nfire complaint.
Officers arrived to find a wounded woman, later identified as Tierra Corbett, 35, from Northwest Washington, DC. Police say Corbett was declared dece@sed at the scene by D.C. Fire and EMS. The coroner’s office received her body and examined it.

According to the authorities, LaRhonda Stewart, 31, from Southeast, D.C., was arrested and charged with second-degree m*rder while armed. Through their investigation, the police learned that the victim and the suspect were acquainted.
