New Seasons Market Unveils Plans for Second Hillsboro Store

The Portland-based grocery store New Seasons Market announced this week that it will open a second store in Hillsboro in 2025.

The new shop will be the company’s 22nd in the metro area. It will be in Tanasbourne Town Center, where there used to be an Office Depot and a Barnes & Noble Booksellers.

New Seasons said in a news release that when the market at 11000 N.E. Evergreen Parkway opens, it will have 100 jobs.

Like the other New Seasons Market stores, the new one will sell fruit grown in the area, craft beers, wines, and other grocery staples made by companies in the Pacific Northwest.

This will be the second New Seasons store in Hillsboro. The first one is at Orenco Station. Workers at the Orenco Station store recently decided against forming a union with United Food & Commercial Workers International.
