  1. Veterans, listen up. Ask your local Vet Center about HUD VASH Vouchers. They are available now, and make sure you plead how dire your situation is.

  2. We have worked our entire life and paid off our rentals so we have income in our retirement. This is not right! People need to work hard get two jobs figure out your priorities. God, Family, housing, and food should be at the top of the list. Not alcohol and drugs! The more Oregon gives the more people want. Our poor state of Oregon is disgusting. Giving is not helping! We used to be so proud to live in Oregon. Sad so Sad

    1. Same here. We only raised rents, conservatively when we had to. We learned it is better to have lower rent which, for us, led to longer term renters. We don’t need to be dictated to by any level of government. We invested years of our lives, building homes by ourselves with our own 2 hands. We’ve been more than fair. This stuff angers me. You can’t paint everyone with the same brush.

  3. If you raise the rent More than you will have way More homelessness it’s all I do to make sure I pay My rent. But I’m 60 yrs old and already my hole check goes to rent

  4. If oregon keeps allowing rent increases Their are going to be alot more homeless people.just because someone owns property to rent out shouldn’t mean they should have the right to hike the rent up more than once a year! The world revolves around crooked politician’s and greed.
