The Portland Police Department is looking for the guy who stole a dump truck early on Thursday, June 01, morning and then slammed it into numerous other vehicles.
Officers were dispatched to the 6300 block of Northeast Rodney Avenue in response to a hit-and-run crash that occurred shortly after 4:30 a.m. A person is suspected of stealing a dump truck, trailer, and excavation equipment from a neighboring job site located in the 5700 block of Northeast Rodney Avenue, according to the police.

Just after 4:30 a.m. this morning, North Precinct officers responded to a hit and run crash in the 6300 Block of NE Rodney. Upon arriving, they determined that a dump truck, trailer, and excavation equipment had been stolen from a job site in the 5700 Block of NE Rodney Ave.

Before finally coming to a stop, the robber managed to wreck the dump truck into four different vehicles.

The officers believe that two or three of the vehicles have been completely destroyed. A home retaining wall was also destroyed as a result of the dump truck. Before police officers could arrive, the suspect managed to get away. No arrests have been made.
