Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) is shown cursing at officers in body cam footage obtained by law enforcement on Monday after they handcuffed him at a rodeo last month.
Jackson is heard ranting and cursing at the policemen in the footage from the Texas state police during the incident in White Deer, close to Amarillo.
“You are a full-on fucking dick!” Jackson addresses a policeman. “You’d better recalculate, motherfucker!” What transpired just before the outburst is unknown.
As authorities approach him, Jackson may be seen furiously waving at something out of the camera in a 14-minute dashcam video. Jackson appeared to be being restrained from confronting the officers by someone else.
According to a statement from his office following the incident, Jackson, a former White House doctor, claimed he was stopped at the event while attempting to assist a 15-year-old girl experiencing a medical emergency.

A representative for Jackson echoed that stance on Monday night in a statement to POLITICO, labeling the police’s conduct as “overly aggressive and incompetent.”
“Congressman Jackson, as a trained ER physician, will not apologize for sparing no effort to help in a medical emergency, especially when the circumstances were chaotic and the local authorities refused to help the situation,” the spokeswoman wrote in an email.
The Texas Department of Public Safety did not immediately answer requests for comment regarding the video and what precipitated Jackson’s outburst.
