Officials indicate that the guy who was murdered in a gunshot in the Hollywood area on June 23 has been identified by the Portland Police Department. The shooting also resulted in the hospitalization of a second victim.
After hearing gunfire near Northeast Sandy Boulevard and Northeast Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard, officers discovered Fortressen O. Oriakhi, 29, in the driver’s seat of a car that had struck a pole.
According to the police, Oriakhi was already deceased when they arrived just after 2:30 in the morning, and the passenger, whose identity has not been released, was in critical condition. According to the investigators, both had evidence of gunshot wounds.

Later, a medical examiner determined that Oriakhi had been murdered by gunfire. The second man is still being treated in the hospital for injuries that are considered to be life-threatening. At this point, it is unclear whether any potential suspects have been located. The investigation into this matter is still going on.
