A lady accused of murdering her mother was taken into custody by the Lane County Sheriff’s Office on a Saturday afternoon. LCSO was told on June 24 that there might have been a murder in the 9400 block of Highway 126 in Mapleton. They reported that the caller, Marsha Quesnell, admitted to having murdered her mother, Mona Tittle.
LCSO said –
“The caller, Marsha Quesnell, advised she had killed her mother, Mona Tittle.”
According to the sheriff’s office, Quesnell was cooperative when deputies arrived, and he was taken into jail without any kind of incident taking place. Tittle’s body was discovered inside the residence.

According to the sheriff’s office, Quesnell was arrested for the charge of murder and booked into the Lane County Adult Corrections facility in the afternoon.
Despite the fact that the investigation is still being carried out, the LCSO has determined that there is no immediate threat to the community.
