The man whose body was discovered on May 24 following a shooting in Portland’s North Tabor area has been positively identified, police said.

According to the police report, Jessie Lavell Marks Sr., 36, was shot and killed at 9:18 a.m. on Northeast Glisan Street. The suspect or suspects are still at large after police failed to apprehend them.
His brother, according to reports Timothy Marks Frazier. Marks was a “nice, easy-going guy,” he claimed, and now he doesn’t know what to do with himself. “He was a proud father, and he had a love for everybody. It’s just so crazy that he’s gone,” Frazier said. “It’s just heartbreaking.”
