The Portland Police Bureau is looking into multiple requests for service and a possible shooting related to domestic violence that occurred on Tuesday, May 23, in the Foster-Powell neighborhood.
The first call for help occurred at 12:45 a.m. when police were dispatched to the 8000 block of Southeast Boise Street. The police say they received other complaints about the same incident throughout the night.
According to the police, a shooting occurred after the last call, and they believe it was related to domestic violence. A female patient was sent to a local facility. What exactly happened to her is unknown at this time.

Around 1 a.m., neighbors said they heard g*nshots and disturbance. Around 5 a.m., they heard police using the loudspeaker to communicate with someone. Investigators from the police department spent all of Tuesday, May 23, morning at the scene. The police have not yet revealed any additional information.
