According to the authorities, a fire that broke out at an apartment complex in Southeast Portland overnight displaced more than a dozen individuals and four animals on Monday, May 08, morning.
According to the investigation findings, the fire near the intersection of Southeast 143rd Avenue and Southeast Division Street at around 3:15 a.m. began on a cooktop before spreading from the kitchen to the kitchens of surrounding apartments, causing damage to a total of four units.
The apartment can be seen in the video to be on fire, and smoke can be seen coming from it-
According to Portland Fire & Rescue, none of the 16 residents who were forced to evacuate their homes or the firefighters who responded to the call were sent to a medical facility.
