According to Atlanta TV station WSB-TV, the tractor-trailer that had broken down in the left lane of an exit off the interstate collided with the car that Ramsess and his kids were riding in just before midnight on Halloween.
In an Instagram post, his mother, photojournalist Akili Ramsess, executive director of the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), confirmed his passing as well as the deaths of his two kids.
