Marcin Momot, the director of the global community, has recently posted that the 2.0 update might not happen on September 9 after all.
However, the update will be available before the Phantom Liberty downloadable content on PC and current-gen consoles!

The lackluster law enforcement in Cyberpunk 2077 has been cited as a key criticism of the game. The early builds of the game suffered from a severe lack of immersion due to the random spawning of police NPCs and drones.

New content and settings are coming to Cyberpunk 2077 with Phantom Liberty. Developers have categorized the upcoming content update as a spy thriller. It has espionage undertones, with the protagonists engaged in a high-stakes race to find and protect NUSA President Rosalind Myers.
Dogtown, a brand-new neighborhood in Night City, will be the primary setting for most of the action. You can look forward to scores of new story missions and gigs that expand upon the lore of Night City. Idris Elba himself will play a major role in the plot of Phantom Liberty. The role of Federal sleeper agent Solomon Reed will be played by the actor.
