A Portland man is detained at the Penobscot County Jail on a $10,000 cash bail after being suspected of stabbing an ambulance crew member in Bangor.
For the alleged incident early on Sunday morning at Circle K on Odlin Road, police charged 37-year-old Justin Hill with felony aggravated assault.
The Penobscot County District Attorney’s Office reports that a court set bail with several restrictions, including that the defendant has no contact with three persons, including the alleged victim, and refrain from possessing or using any dangerous weapons, including knives.
Hill will also be subjected to a mental evaluation.
Hill was a stranger to the victim, according to the police, and the attack’s motivation is now unknown.
