After using a rock to break the windows of several Portland businesses, a guy was detained early on Thursday, according to the police.
Five counts of second-degree criminal mischief and one case of first-degree criminal mischief were brought against 34-year-old Fredy Paredes-Kancab. According to court records, Paredes-Kancab was accused of destroying a Walgreens last month, and on July 6 a judge issued a Fail to Appear order against him.

Just after 6:30 in the morning, police were called to the vicinity of NE 32nd Ave. and NE Broadway St. after getting a report that a guy was breaking numerous windows. Officers claim they were able to find Paredes-Kancab and take him to jail after getting a description of him.
