In New York State, the summer concert season is currently in full flow, and there are still dozens to go before September! But if you attend a performance this year, there might be a new rule in place that forbids you from hurling objects at the performer or onto the stage.
Recently, there have been several instances of fans throwing objects for artists to sign or phones for them to snap pictures with. Sounds very innocent, doesn’t it? However, things have become perilous in several instances.
A celebrity was recently taken to the hospital after being struck by a phone that a fan tossed because they thought it would be “funny”.

We are fortunate to have a wide variety of excellent indoor and outdoor performance venues here in New York State. Every music fan can become thrilled about something, whether they prefer hip-hop, rock, or country. However, many people are perplexed as to why somebody would wish to harm an artist or taint an event they paid money to attend.
It appears like the stars are beginning to respond. Megastar Morgan Wallen flung a boot at a fan at a concert this past weekend after getting caught off guard while signing a hat for another fan.

The best guidance? Watch the show, please! At a show, there are already far too many unpleasant behaviors. No need to stop at a concert to get an autograph or take a photo.
