The injuries the 17-year-old boy got are serious, but the Portland Police Department doesn’t think they are life-threatening. Several investigators were sent to the scene to learn more about what happened and gather necessary proof. The Forensic Evidence Division, the Forensic Identification Team (FIT), and the East County Special Team (ECST) all looked into the area in depth.

The person or people who did the shooting got away before the police came so they couldn’t be caught quickly. Because of this, detectives are still trying to figure out what went wrong and see the people who did it.
