According to the Oregon City Police Department, a semi-truck became stuck within the Oregon City tunnel on Highway 99E on Friday, May 26, afternoon, which resulted in the temporary closure of the tunnel.

At the time of the collision, which occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m., officials claim the semi was hauling construction equipment.
