On Friday, May 04, the Portland Police Bureau released the name of the 55-year-old victim of a sh00ting that occurred last week in the city’s Northwest District Neighborhood.
When police arrived at the sh00ting scene near Northwest 17th Avenue and Northwest Irving Street at about midnight on April 28, they discovered James R. Rodgers, Jr. suffering from a g*nshot wound. Rodgers received first assistance, but he was pronounced de@d at the site.
Another victim, a female, was discovered, sh0t and wounded, and was sent to the hospital. On Friday, May 04, police said that woman had been discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment. Police said last week that the suspect fled the area, and no one had been taken into custody.
