An investigation has led to the arrest of a 61-year-old man in connection with the fatal shooting of a 35-year-old man from Portland who was discovered dead in Gresham on Friday, 24 March 2023.
Michael Lashone Hatcher, a resident of Portland, was discovered by the police at around 7:20 a.m. on a sidewalk in the 500 block of Southeast 197th Avenue.
According to a Twitter post, the documents filed with the court, Ervin Standifer Jr., 61, is suspected of shooting Hatcher.

Gresham, Ore.— The Gresham Police Department, with assistance of Portland Police Bureau SERT, arrested Portland resident Ervin Standifer Jr, 61, at his residence.

According to the Multnomah County Detention Center records, Gresham and Portland police detained Standifer on Tuesday and booked him into the facility. Standifer is still being held there.
