Two of the three people killed in a shooting in Portland, Oregon, on Saturday, 25 March 2023, were high school students, school officials said on Tuesday, 28 March 2023.
Eskender Tamra, a junior at Franklin High School, and Isaac Daudi, a senior at Roosevelt High School, were found dead. The Portland Police Bureau says in a Twitter post that Patrick Johnson, who was in his 20s and was from Portland, was the third person to die.

The Oregonian/OregonLive said that in emails to the families of both students, school officials said that they were “quiet, reserved, and respectful.”

At 12:23 p.m. on Saturday, police found three people shot inside a car on Portland’s north side. Police say that they all died at the scene.
The police have not made any arrests or released any suspect information as of Tuesday. Police said that detectives are still asking anyone with information to contact them.
The murders were the 15th, 16th, and 17th suspected homicides in Portland in 2023. Last year at this time, 24 people had been killed in Portland.
