Safety Jamal Adams of the Seattle Seahawks is under fire for making fun of NFL writer Connor Hughes’ wife. The decision to give Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson a touchdown in the fourth quarter was just one of the many things Hughes had criticized Adams for on Thursday Night Football.
SNYtv reporter Connor Hughes posted a scene from the play on X with the remark, “Yikes.” With the comment, “Yikes #Prez,” Adams, who appeared to take offence at Hughes’ tweet, shared the video along with a picture of Hughes and his wife.
Later on, he removed the tweet, but not before it received a lot of attention. Dov Kleiman tweeted “This is actually gross. Seahawks Safety Jamal Adams is attacking a reporter’s family because he shared a highlight of him getting beat for a TD by the Cowboys,”
Connor didn’t say anything offensive or particularly target Adams, therefore this is inappropriate. All he did was share a play that had become popular on social media. “Adams needs to apologize, this is not cool.”
