His performance as 12 year-old Bill Denbrough showcased his talent as a part of a cast that included seasoned actors. The the same year, he portrayed the part in the role of Bastian Bux on “The NeverEnding Story II: The Next Chapter.”
At just seventeen, Jonathan Brandis landed his most memorable role on screen as Lucas Wolenczak in “SeaQuest DSV.” The American television show based on science fiction that was co-produced with Steven Spielberg, allowed him to shine through 57 episodes, and to win the attention of viewers.
