Magnus White Cause of Death
American cyclist Magnus White, age 17, was k!lled on Saturday after he was hit by a vehicle while out on a training ride near his home in Boulder, Colorado. White was set to compete in the 2018 world championships in Scotland.

According to ESPN, the boy was racing for Boulder Junior Cycling when he was hit while biking near his house in Boulder.
Cycling Community Mourns Loss of Rising Star
White was a promising young athlete in a variety of fields; in 2021, he won the junior national championship in cyclocross and was selected to compete for the United States. He was chosen to represent the United States at the cyclocross world championships in the Netherlands this year after competing with the squad in Europe in preparation for last year’s championships.
This season, White gave road cycling and mountain biking a go. When the accident happened, he was on one of his last training rides before competing in the Junior World Mountain Bike Championships in Glasgow, Scotland.
