On Saturday in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, two more persons were hurt in addition to the four fatalities in separate aircraft incidents.
The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office reported receiving numerous calls regarding an airplane that had fallen into the lake on Saturday morning. The two passengers of the T-6 Texas plane were discovered deceased after the deployment of rescue and dive teams as well as other first responders.
The police department also stated that it was actively collaborating on the crash investigation with the state’s Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), the National Transportation Safety Board, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
Separately, around 12:00 central time, an ELA Eclipse 10 and Rotorway 162F helicopter collided close to Wittman Regional Airport, according to authorities.
While the accident was being investigated, Wittman’s aircraft activities were suspended, but after a little delay, the afternoon air show started at around 2:45 p.m., according to the Associated Press.

The EAA said in a statement that although the owners of the aircraft were present at its annual fly-in convention, they were not participating in the air show.
The accident left two persons de@d and two others hurt, according to the police. According to the press release, the injured people were taken to a nearby hospital and are all in stable condition.
In both cases, the names of the deceased were withheld pending notification of the families.
