Wednesday’s stabbing in San Mateo resulted in one death, according to the local police force. The suspect is still on the loose. At 3:48 pm, the San Mateo Police Department received a report to the 200 block of 37th Avenue. Officers investigated an apartment complex door-to-door without a specific address being provided.

In an apartment in the 200 block of 36th Avenue, the victim was discovered. Police think the victim was acquainted with the suspect. The SMPD is working to track down and apprehend the culprit. The inquiry is still ongoing.
