Accidents have been common in Portland during the past week. Loss of life due to reckless driving is a problem not only in Portland but throughout the whole state of Oregon. One person has been killed in a vehicle accident involving an alcoholic driver on Tuesday night in Portland.
near 7:40 p.m., an accident happened near the intersection of Fremont Street and North Williams Avenue. The driver of one vehicle was killed instantly after a collision between two vehicles. The force of the collision was too great for him to drive to the emergency room in time. The name of the driver who was killed in the crash has not been made public. One person was killed instantaneously, while another sustained serious injuries, during this occurrence. Although police have not yet spoken, we know at least one person was killed in this crash. The patient who was carried in is resting well in the intensive care unit (ICU). We need to know more about this.
Unfortunately for the cops, this whole episode was not captured on any of the neighborhood’s CCTV cameras. As soon as police arrived at the scene of the collision, they closed Lombard Street between 32nd and 33rd avenues in order to gather evidence and interview any witnesses. Police have been conducting repeated searches of the area in an effort to track down the fugitive.
