A Teenage Girl Was Shot and Injured at a Grocery Shop in Southeast Portland

On Friday, May 26, the reports said a 17-year-old girl was found wounded and injured near a grocery shop in the city’s southeast.

According to the reports, she was discovered around 2 p.m. near the WinCo on Southeast 79th Avenue and Southeast Powell Boulevard. They do not think she was shot in the area of the business. The kid required ambulance transport to the hospital, but she is expected to recover fully.

Southeast 79th Street was located north of Southeast Holgate Boulevard, where police say detectives found possible evidence of a crime. About two blocks of Southeast 79th Street will be closed as detectives investigate, police said.
