Missing Divers Found Safe After Being Lost at Sea for 12 Hours

The US Coast Guard and US Navy have reportedly saved four divers who went missing on Sunday south of Cape Fear, North Carolina.

According to USCG Mid-Atlantic, the divers were discovered 46 miles southeast of the Cape Fear River in North Carolina.

Around noon on Sunday, the US Coast Guard said the four men scuba-dated from a recreational boat about 63 miles east of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

According to the news release, numerous rescue workers searched for them by boat and air, including an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew, an HC-130 Hercules aircraft crew, and multiple vessels.

The Coast Guard reported that the search was conducted 50 miles south of Cape Fear. About 70 miles north of Myrtle Beach, Cape Fear is located close to the southeast corner of North Carolina.
