Linebacker Adrian Jackson Leaving Oregon Football Program (Latest News)

According to a source who has been contacted by Ducks Digest, linebacker Adrian Jackson is quitting the Oregon football team.

Jackson may be entering the transfer portal or he may no longer be playing football, it is unclear at this time.

During spring practice, Adrian Jackson began to switch to inside linebacker. Jackson was ready to begin his junior year of redshirting and his fifth overall season with the Ducks.

linebacker who graduated from Mullen High School in Denver, Colorado, was the top-ranked recruit in Colorado for the 2018 class and a four-star prospect.

Jackson was one of the top prospects in Oregon's class and enrolled early, even in the top-15 recruiting class of 2018 that included future NFL stars Penei Sewell and Jevon Holland.

Watch out for Jackson LaDuke and Keith Brown as well; both players missed time in the 2021 season and will be competing for reinstatement.

The Ducks' depth at linebacker will undoubtedly suffer as a result of Jackson's departure.
