California Man Faces Kidnapping Charge After Taking Ohio Teen To Texas (Latest News)

More information is emerging in federal court records about how a 15-year-old Hillsborough teen was found up with a boy nearly twice his age in Texas.

On July 18, the FBI's El Paso field office reported that the search for the juvenile had come to an end at the Greyhound Bus Station in El Paso, Texas.

Officers discovered through the girl's mates during their investigation that she had been speaking with a man named "Roman" from California. According to Hillsboro police, the man was later identified as Alex Roman Nguyen, 28, of California.

According to court filings, the 15-year-old and Nguyen got to know one another through the clash software, which is frequently used by video gamers to communicate.

Documents state that when Nguyen and the juvenile first spoke, the girl allegedly revealed her age to be 18. According to court documents, he later learned that girl was actually 15 years old.

These conversations turned into sex video chats as the teen provided nude pictures to Nguyen, according to the court records. The two later traveled to Ohio to meet and attend the Festival of Bells during the week of July 7, according to police.

The youngster allegedly shared a photo of the two of them in the teen's bedroom while they were dating with a buddy. While in Hillsboro, the 28-year-old slept in a rental car that he left parked close to the girl's house.
