The Marvels: A Cosmic Adventure Awaits
By the time Brie Larson’s The Marvels hits theatres on November 10th, she’s reclaimed her identity as Captain Marvel from the oppressive Kree and exacted her retribution on the Supreme Intelligence. However, Carol ends up bearing the brunt of a shaken cosmos due to unexpected repercussions.
Her powers become intermingled with those of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), alias Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), when her responsibilities send her through an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary. The fate of the universe rests in the hands of these unusual trio, who must learn to work together as “The Marvels.”
Saagar Shaikh as Aamir Khan, Zenobia Shroff as Muneeba Khan, Mohan Kapur as Yusuf Khan, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury will all be making their series debuts in The Marvels.
Some of the new cast members are Park Seo-Joon, Shamier Anderson, and Zawe Ashton. Directed by Nia DaCosta and written by Nia DaCosta, Megan McDonnell, and Elissa Karasik, The Marvels is a Marvel Studios production.
