Two persons, including a 16-year-old, were shot on Friday night in southeast Portland.
According to PPB, police responded to reports of gunfire just before midnight on Friday near Southeast Stark Street and Southeast 122nd Avenue. At first, they did not discover any shooting-related evidence. A security officer at a pub in the 12200 block of SE Stark St. called to report a shooting outside about a half-hour later. When police were called, they discovered evidence of a shooting.

Later, officers were informed that a shooting victim had arrived at the hospital. They discovered that the victim was a 16-year-old boy who was likely to recover from his wounds. Later, officers went to a different hospital to check on a 39-year-old guy who had also been shot. He was sent to a Level 1 trauma center, and his prognosis is good.
PPB stated that no arrests had been made and did not describe the suspects.
