The AI revolution is being led by a radio station in Portland. When one of their on-air personalities is unavailable, LIVE 95.5 has resorted to cutting-edge technology to fill the void.
LIVE 95.5 has developed “AI Ashley,” a computerized representation of the host Ashley Z.
I do nights at Movin’ 92.5 (in Seattle), so I’m all over the place, so if I can’t be on the second that news breaks say they have like an active shooter situation in Portland. They want to be able to go live with that right away, so if I can’t get to my home studio, this can step in,” Ashley said.
The real Ashley claims that since Alpha Media, the owner of LIVE 95.5, released AI Ashley, the AI version has only completed two full shows while she has continued to perform the rest.
