According to Oregon State Police, a Hillsboro cyclist was killed on Friday in Lincoln County after colliding with a log truck.
At about 1:15 p.m., OSP reported. On Friday, troopers went to the Lincoln County section of U.S. 101 close to milepost 125. When they got there, they discovered a bike and an empty semi-truck hauling logs entangled in a collision. The cyclist passed away there and then. He has been identified as Hillsboro resident Bradley Stark, age 57.

The semi-truck and Stark’s bike collided for an unexplained cause while Stark was riding southbound on U.S. 101, according to the troopers.
According to OSP, the investigation into the collision is ongoing, and once it is finished, it will be given to the district attorney’s office for evaluation.
