The intersection of Northeast Sixth Avenue and Northeast Holladay Street was closed on Friday night (23 June) after a shooting in the Lloyd area, which according to the police, resulted in the death of one man.

The Portland Police Bureau rushed to the incident at 9:47 p.m. and discovered the wounded man there. They attempted to save him by providing first aid, but he passed away on the spot. It has been said by the authorities that no arrests were made since the suspect or suspects fled the scene.
