According to the state’s corrections department, an adult inmate at Oregon’s Coffee Creek Correctional Facility died on Sunday, June 4.

A news release states that 45-year-old Amanda Stott-Smith passed away while in jail on the morning of June 4. The waiver states that the medical examiner is responsible for determining the cause of death, which has not been disclosed.

Stott-Smith was arrested on April 23, 2010, and given a life sentence for the murder of her two children by throwing them from the Sellwood Bridge.
