On Thursday, June 1, 2023, in the 6000 block of Clay Street, Northeast, an assault with a dangerous weapon (gun) was committed, and detectives from the Sixth District of the Metropolitan Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a vehicle associated with this crime.

After getting out of the car, the suspect approached the victims at the given area at around 8:37 a.m. The suspect pointed a handgun at the victims and opened fire. The suspect then drove away from the crime scene. There were no reported injuries.
