One person was shot and killed in Corbett, what appears to have started as a domestic dispute, and one man is in prison.
The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office received a call about an argument between a man and a woman at the Crown Point RV Park in Corbett just before 5 p.m.

Witnesses heard gunfire after witnessing the suspects enter a recreational vehicle. Sheriff’s officers raced to the RV park behind the Corbett Fire Station, where they spotted the man walking.
According to authorities, the suspect, who has yet to be publicly identified, reportedly surrendered peacefully. He has been detained, but no formal charges have been brought against him.
A bird, a dog, and a cat were among the well-cared-for animals the authorities reported being transferred to the shelter. The identity of the victim is yet unknown.
