The Oregon State Police predicts a larger-than-usual volume of traffic on the state’s highways during Memorial Day weekend.
According to a press release, OSP holds an “All Patrol Day” during historically busy weekends. On that particular day, all uniformed officers take to the roads so that they can be more visible on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

When hitting the roads this weekend, OSP wants drivers to be patient, cautious, and well-prepared.
