According to the Portland Police Bureau, on Wednesday, a lady was killed in a hit-and-run incident between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Southeast Division Street.

East of Southeast 122nd Avenue, at around 1:30 p.m., police were called to the scene of a crash involving many vehicles. According to the police report, an injured female was located and subsequently sent to the hospital, where she died.

Based on preliminary evidence, authorities have concluded that the woman was crossing the street when struck by an eastbound vehicle that continued on its way. As a result of the investigation, SE Division is currently closed between SE 122nd Avenue and SE 124th Avenue.
