Late Thursday night, May 12, a man was sh0t and k!lled in the Hazelwood neighborhood in Northeast Portland.
At 11:46 p.m., a sergeant with the Portland Police Department noticed something suspicious at the corner of 112th Avenue Northeast and Wasco Street Northeast. Portland police say the sergeant was told to go to an injured guy east of the intersection. The sergeant called for an ambulance, but it was too late.
Portland police have confirmed that the early investigation indicates the man was shot, but the formal cause of de@th and identification has not yet been determined. No one has been @rrested, and no suspects have been found.
The H0micide Unit of the Portland Police Department is looking into the incident. The shooting on Thursday was the second h0micide in the Hazelwood area in seven days.

On Tuesday night, police discovered the body of a man who had been shot near the Menlo Park Safe Rest Village at the corner of East Burnside Street and Northeast 122nd Avenue. There have been no detentions related to that incident.
