A Long-time Oregon Lottery Player Has Won a Life-long Prize of $1,000 Every Week

Long-time Oregon Lottery Player Has Won a Life-long Prize

Since the Oregon Lottery’s inception in 2001, a regular player from Hubbard has been giving it a go. After 22 long years, his perseverance paid off when he won the Win for Life lottery.

According to the Oregon Lottery, truck driver Robin Riedel bought his winning ticket at the Woodburn Liquor Store on Sunday, May 07, and found out about his big win that evening. He will receive weekly payments of $1,000 for the rest of his life thanks to his victory.

When asked about his lotto playing, Riedel responded, “It’s not a matter of if, but when” he’d win. Riedel and his wife, Debi, are about to celebrate their wedding anniversary, so they intend to use their winnings to take a trip to St. Lucia.

He has informed the Oregon Lottery that he plans to use some money to repair and upgrade the house he and his wife, Debi, purchased three years ago. “The money will allow us to do some things we wouldn’t be able to do,” said Reidel. “I’m hoping to retire in another two to three years.”
