PORTLAND, Ore. — It’s finally May, and a lot is happening. We celebrate Mother’s Day, Cinco de Mayo, a few native months, Mental Health Awareness Day, and Memorial Day. But this first weekend, everyone talks about the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta returning to Tom McCall Waterfront Park in Portland.

Some other things are happening in and around Portland: parties for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, Rauw Alejandro at the Moda Center, events for the Kentucky Derby, and more. Here are the things we want to do this weekend.
