According to the Portland Police Bureau, a 33-year-old man was detained and charged on Tuesday, May 2,Β in connection with a f@tal sh00ting that occurred in March at an encampment in the city’s southeast.
Rene Ramirez Martinez, 39, was sh0t and k!lled at Southeast 74th Avenue and Southeast Powell Boulevard Frontage Road, and police detectives have named Jorge Gomez Montejano as a suspect in the case.
After receiving reports of g*nfire on March 9 at about 7:30 p.m., authorities located Ramirez Martinez lifeless near a camp. The Medical Examiner’s report determined that the mu*der victim d!ed from a g*nshot wound.
