Man Trying to Avoid Police Hides on a Roof and in a Tree Before Being Apprehended

Authorities in Portland, Oregon, said they apprehended a guy who had tried to elude capture by hiding on a roof and in a tree.

According to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office online booking system, 31-year-old Kenneth Robert Wirth was arrested on Friday, April 14, and charged with trying to evade and failing to execute the driver’s duty while the property was harmed.

According to the report, when Portland Police Department officers arrived at the scene of a welfare check, they found a guy, subsequently identified as Wirth, unconscious at the car’s wheel. According to the news broadcast, the police deployed spike strips and shut off the car’s engine before rousing the driver.

The source claims that Wirth woke up and drove away, crashing into the spike strips on his way out of the area. After a few minutes, the car was discovered deserted. The guy was reportedly seen by police shortly after on the top of a neighboring house.
