Portland Police Says, Suspect Arrested in Connection with 62-Year-Old De@th

PORTLAND, Ore.– Portland Police Bureau says that a man is being charged for beating up a 62-year-old man at a convenience store in Hazelwood, which led to the man’s death five days later.

According to Koin News, Authorities say Aaron Reed-Jones, 35, attacked Curtis E. Davies at 8 p.m. on March 17 in a 12100 block of East Burnside Street store.

Davies died from his injuries around 11:30 p.m. on March 22. The medical examiner said he was killed by a “blunt force trauma.”

Jones was arrested on Wednesday and charged with first- and second-degree manslaughter, second-degree assault, criminally negligent homicide, and having a gun as a convicted felon.
